The concept of democracy includes valuing peace, understanding conflict resolution, promoting gender equality and a culture of freedom, promoting the social inclusion of different people, promoting the communication and common action amongst the members of a society and promoting environmental awareness and an active stance towards the environmental problems.

The general objective of the project CINEMATOMEDIA is to build the capacity of youth organisations, especially in Middle East and North Africa, to use cinema as a tool in order to promote political and democratic participation of young people.

- CINEMATOMEDIA has as a specific aim to increase the capability of youth organisations to work effectively in the context of non-formal learning using cinema as a tool.
- The project is targeting young people with fewer opportunities and aims to empower, through the use of non-formal and informal methods, based on cinema.
- The project is aiming to develop joint activities (common methodology, joint training activities, joint film festivals both in online and physical environment etc.) between young people from 7 countries (Greece, Germany, France, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia).
A Partnership Agreement has been successfully executed by all partners as of the end of December 2023, specifically:

6) PROMOTION AND SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL INITIATIVES (PADIL), Tunisia,
7) AUDIOVISUAL MEETINGS (AUDIO MEETING), France,
8) YOUTH (CHABIBEH) SPORTING CLUB (CHABIBEH), Lebanon.
It is evident that the Bilateral Partnership Agreement between KENTRO SPOUDON LAIKOU THEATROU (Coordinator) and Association PADIL (Beneficiary) was officially signed on March 1, 2024. The initial budgetary allocation of the PADIL Association amounts to approximately 100 000,000 TND and the first tranche, equivalent to 19 372,914 TND, has already been disbursed.
In addition, it should be noted that the coordinator of the CINEMATOMEDIA project, namely KENTRO SPOUDON LAIKOU THEATROU, recently released the second budget instalment in April 2025, amounting to 19 275,102 TND.

Projet CINEMATOMEDIA : Enseigner la démocratie à travers le cinéma
Pour les besoins du projet CINEMATOMEDIA (101131238 — CINEMATOMEDIA — ERASMUS-JEUNESSE-2023-CB), la démocratie est entendue dans un sens élargi.
Le concept de démocratie englobe la valorisation de la paix, la compréhension de la résolution des conflits, la promotion de l’égalité entre les sexes et d’une culture de liberté, le soutien à l’inclusion sociale des personnes diverses, l’encouragement de la communication et de l’action commune entre les membres d’une société, ainsi que la sensibilisation environnementale et une attitude active face aux problèmes environnementaux.
Aperçu du projet : objectif général
L'objectif global du projet CINEMATOMEDIA est de renforcer les capacités des organisations de jeunesse, particulièrement au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique du Nord, pour qu'elles utilisent le cinéma comme outil de promotion de la participation politique et démocratique des jeunes.
Aperçu du projet : objectifs spécifiques
- CINEMATOMEDIA a pour objectif spécifique d'accroître les capacités des organisations de jeunesse à intervenir efficacement dans le cadre de l'apprentissage non formel en utilisant le cinéma comme outil pédagogique.
- Le projet cible plus particulièrement les jeunes en situation de vulnérabilité et vise à les autonomiser par le biais de méthodes non formelles basées sur le cinéma.
- Il vise également à développer des activités communes (méthodologie partagée, activités de formation collective, festivals de films communs à la fois en ligne et en présentiel, etc.) entre des jeunes issus de 7 pays (Grèce, Allemagne, France, Égypte, Jordanie, Liban, Tunisie).
Une convention de partenariat a été conclue avec succès entre tous les partenaires avant la fin décembre 2023, précisément par :

La convention de partenariat bilatérale entre KENTRO SPOUDON LAIKOU THEATROU (coordinateur) et l’Association PADIL (bénéficiaire) a été officiellement signée le 1er mars 2024. L'allocation budgétaire initiale prévue pour l'Association PADIL s'élève à environ 100 000,000 TND, et la première tranche, équivalente à 19 372,914 TND, a déjà été versée.
En outre, il convient de souligner que le coordinateur du projet CINEMATOMEDIA, à savoir KENTRO SPOUDON LAIKOU THEATROU, a débloqué la deuxième tranche budgétaire au mois d’avril 2025, s’élevant à 19 275,102 TND.
