SUMMARY:

Violence Against Women (VAW) and gender inequality are highly important issues that need to be talked about in Europe and beyond. The goal of this youth exchange is to help young people reflect on how these social issues play a role in their own lives, and in different parts of the world, re-evaluate their own stereotypes and exchange learning and ideas.

SUMMARY

The problem of social inequality is one that needs to be addressed across Europe. Inequality is still a major issue across Europe, according to an OECD report on the continent's socioeconomic divide. This project aims to increase youth awareness, understanding, and reflection on privilege and social inequality.

Dangerous Intentions Project – ERASMUS-YOUTH-EXCHANGE -2023-1NL02-KA152-YOU-00143918, Association PADIL and the Dutch World UP, at ''Centre des Stages et de Vacances à Chatt Mami-Metline'', the project's main aim is to raise awareness and create discussions through NFE methods (interactive workshops, role-playing simulations, acting, debating, teamwork, games, etc) about the different forms of violence against women, its differences between countries, consequences, and how to discuss the topic while supporting victims and survivors; (February 2024).

Madrid, Spain – February 1–6, 2026, Three members of Association PADIL, Hamed KRIAA, Rayhane FEKIH, and Mariem BRIKI, represented the association at an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange organised by YouthProAktiv in Madrid, under the theme "Working with the EU to Enhance the Participation of Disadvantaged Young People." The event offered our delegates an in-depth immersion into European democratic mechanisms and practical tools to amplify the voices of marginalised youth.

The Association Promotion & Appui au Développement d’Initiatives Locales (PADIL) took part in the preparatory visit of the project “Building Bridges – Enhancing Inclusion”, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, which was held in Msida (Malta) from March 27 to 30, 2026.

On this occasion, the association was represented by Ms. Eya Hadhri and Ms. Mariem Briki, who actively contributed to the various activities and exchanges organized during this international meeting.

CREATIVE PRISMA objective is to empower upskilling refugees and migrants, by providing them innovative tools, friendly, easy to absorb and easily accessible materials, all specifically designed for them and combined with social entrepreneurship skills in the creative industry.

More than 80% were below the age of 34. Many of those granted asylum are young people. They are likely to stay and settle in the EU.
